The PRI is founded on the idea that together we can reduce poverty. Through our work convening, networking, and educating community members and organizations, we hope to coordinate community efforts to have the greatest effect. While we do receive grant funding, we also rely on individuals and organizations to support our work.

It takes over $8,000 to produce one project connect event, which in the past have reached 800-1,000 individuals with direct assistance. A $10 donation can help provide over $70 of services, food and transportation for a participant and benefit their entire family.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with only one full-time employee.

The rest of the work is done by AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers and student and community volunteers.
